ON VIEW: “GONE” Curated by Roosi for USM Modular Furniture | Sep 06 - Nov 02 2024

ROOSI stands as a pioneering Southeast Asian American-owned curatorial collective, dedicated to the enrichment of cultural landscapes through the power of art. Established in 2020 by Josh Ilyas, Matthew Zagada, and Kyle Reyes, Roosi was created with a focus on fostering connections between emerging and established artists, cultural institutions, and brands, curating transformative experiences that amplify underrepresented voices and narratives.

At roosi, our mission is clear: to bridge cultural divides and cultivate meaningful connections through the curation of projects that inspire, provoke thought, and spark dialogue. Through a multifaceted approach encompassing branding, merchandising, consulting, and content production, we aim to not only showcase artistic talent but also to create immersive experiences that leave a lasting impact.

Having orchestrated unique experiences and collaborated with a diverse array of artists including Meguru Yamaguchi, Yoon Hyup, Alfonso Gonzalez Jr., Jahlil Nzinga, Daniel Arsham, Stickymonger and Eri Wakiyama, ROOSI is on the verge of redefining art curation. Our partnerships extend beyond the realm of art, connecting with brands and institutions such as Nepenthes, Lichen NYC, USM Modular Furniture, Topo Chico, Clase Azul, among others.
