CLOSED: “GONE” Curated by Roosi for USM Modular Furniture | For Sale Inquiries: info@roosi.org

Curated by Roosi, GONE explores introspection, connection, and self-discovery through a blend of original paintings and sculptures. Utilizing custom USM systems, the exhibition challenges viewers to reconsider connectivity and perspective, blurring the lines between art and modular furniture design. Held at USM Modular Furniture’s SoHo showroom, the space is transformed with an altar, zen garden, and family shrine—reflecting the artists' personal interpretations of worship and the search for meaning. Floral artist Naoko de Oliveira Yoshii of Kabuki NY adds an earth-based installation, featuring snake-like trees, sea moss, and white stones, creating an eerie yet sacred ambiance.

In GONE, the USM systems are more than just furniture—they become integral parts of the artwork, serving as frames, pedestals, and structural elements that the artists manipulate to suit their visions. This unique integration challenges traditional notions of both art and furniture, creating a dynamic interplay between form and function.

The exhibition brings together a variety of expressions that collectively invite visitors to connect with the artwork on a personal level, reflect on their own experiences, and redefine their understanding of the higher self.
